Volunteer teams create and model their own unique robot looks that incorporate a minimum of 25% repurposed electronic items. These items can include cords and cables, monitors, Christmas lights, keyboards, MP3 players, hard drives, circuit boards, VHS tapes, cell phones, etc. Get creative! It’s a great opportunity for work teams, green teams, families, and groups of friends to have some fun while making a bold statement on the importance of sustainability.
You can make your costumes on your team's own time between now and April 22nd. Repowered can help you out with supplies, too. Stop by the St. Paul Repowered retail store April 7 and 14 to collect materials and get inspired.
There will be some great prizes provided by Repowered and the Mall of America for both winners and fashion show participants.
