Swap - Clothing (City of Edina)

The clothing swap is open to everyone, including nonresidents and families. Participants are encouraged to bring clothing to swap with other people, but no donation is required to join and everything is free to take home. 

The drop-off for clothing donations will be 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at Braemar Arena’s main entrance. Directional signs will be posted. This allows people to donate clothing even if they cannot attend the main swapping event the next day. 

Clothing for all ages and types are encouraged for the swap. A special collection this year will include Halloween costumes (human and pets). Several community organizations will be onsite connecting people to resources and activities that further our climate action goals. 

To make the event a success, many volunteers and partners are needed. Duties include setting up the event, accepting donations, weighing bags, counting attendance and cleaning up after. Community partners involved in reuse and waste reduction are encouraged to reserve a table spot at the event to share resources and information or create an interactive booth to educate the public.
