Sustainable built environment practices

Join us to learn how you can more easily encourage sustainable building material management in your community.

About the event

Each year across the country, we generate twice as much construction and demolition debris as we do household trash. Yet it remains difficult for local government to encourage more sustainable building material management practices. Until now. MPCA staff will be hosting a workshop geared towards cities, tribal nations, and other governmental entities to learn how they can integrate sustainable “built environment” practices into their sustainability, climate resiliency, and solid waste reduction goals.
