The City of Brooklyn Park will host its Reuse Donation Day on Saturday, September 13, from 9-noon at the Operations and Maintenance Facility (8300 Noble Ave. N). This year’s event expands beyond building materials, allowing residents to donate gently used furniture, mattresses, and household items in good condition.
The event is made possible through a partnership with Hennepin County, Bridging, and Better Futures Minnesota. Accepted materials will be reused or resold through local nonprofit organizations, including the ReUse Warehouse in Minneapolis.
Upon arrival, items will be reviewed by staff to determine if they meet quality and reuse criteria. Items accepted will be collected at no cost to residents.
