Community reuse exchange (Willmar CommUNITY Closet)

Willmar CommUNITY Closet is hosting a Community Reuse Exchange to connect surplus household goods directly with people who can use them, keeping usable items out of landfills and supporting the local community. Every item offered through the program is entirely free to take, and participation is open to all community members for both donating and shopping.

Donating & Shopping Overview

Purpose: Distribute unneeded household goods at zero cost to families and individuals in need.

Who Can Participate: Open to anyone looking to donate items or shop for free goods.

Items Accepted:

Large Household Items: Tables, chairs, dressers, bookshelves, and other furniture. (Note: A contact phone number is required when dropping off large items so you can be reached if the item goes unclaimed.)

Small Household & Personal Goods: Tupperware, office supplies, tools, craft supplies, pet supplies, books, movies, games, stuffed animals, posters, and artwork.

Items Not Accepted: Clothing and shoes.

Please use the 7th St SW parking lot, and enter through the side door with the Willmar CommUNITY Closet logo. The time for this event will be shared soon!
